New features

New data lake destination support: Delta Lake on Amazon S3. Move your data from any source into Amazon S3 and enjoy automated conversion to Delta Lake format. Delta Lake on Amazon S3 is available in a limited private preview – reach out to beta@fivetran.com if you’re interested in joining the private preview or learning more.

Move Salesforce data in your own environment while benefiting from Fivetran’s managed service. If you need to keep your Salesforce data local for security or compliance reasons but still want to leverage Fivetran’s cloud for orchestrating and configuring your data movement, Hybrid Deployment is the solution for you. Hybrid Deployment (also available for a number of database connectors), is now available for Salesforce in private preview on our Business Critical plan. All single-source dbt data models are now available as Quickstart data models. Fivetran offers free dbt Core-compatible data models for 50+ of our most popular connectors, which transform your destination data into analytics-ready datasets. Quickstart data models allow you to transform your data without building out your own dbt project – Fivetran creates the dbt project and orchestrates the transformations for you. Securely connect to your database sources with the Fivetran Proxy. Installed behind your firewall, Fivetran Proxy provides a simple and secure connection to your database sources, initiating communication with Fivetran and eliminating the need to open any inbound firewall ports. Proxy is now generally available to customers on our Business Critical plan with data processing in these cloud regions.

In addition to Delta Lake on Amazon S3, we have two Partner-Built destinations in private preview: Materialize and ClickHouse Cloud. 

Our Partner-Built program is a way for vendors to build connectors and destinations for their platform on top of Fivetran’s infrastructure utilizing an SDK.
