Oakland, Calif., March 15, 2023 – Fivetran, the global leader in automated data movement, announced today that the third annual Modern Data Stack Conference will be held April 4-5, 2023 at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis. This year, the Modern Data Stack Conference expands to an in-person event that will convene hundreds of data analysts, data engineers and experienced data professionals for a mixture of informative sessions, hands-on learning and networking opportunities.
Attendees from every professional level, from senior executives to newcomers, will hear from more than 40 industry leaders who will detail how they’ve innovated in their organizations with modern analytics processes and technologies, providing real-world examples. Speakers hail from leading organizations such as Autodesk, AutoZone, Cisco, CONA Services (Coke One North America), Condé Nast, DocuSign, JetBlue and others.
Renowned data leader DJ Patil will also give a keynote address. Other keynote speakers include Tristan Handy, CEO and founder of dbt labs; Matei Zaharia, co-founder and chief technologist at Databricks; and Fivetran CEO and co-founder George Fraser, who will kick off the event with a welcome address.
“We’ve been very pleased with the success of our previous virtual Modern Data Stack conferences. We’ve heard from past attendees that an in-person component would be beneficial, and we’re excited to make that a reality for the first time this year,” said George Fraser, CEO and co-founder of Fivetran. “The in-person event will provide attendees with invaluable 1:1 opportunities to meet many of the foremost leaders in our industry. It’s a perfect forum to learn first-hand about data industry innovations and best practices that enterprises are deploying to make data-driven decisions.”
